Veronneau's Jazz Samba Project CD is a homage to the work of Annapolis based musicians Charlie Byrd and Joe Byrd and the legendary Jazz Samba album which they recorded in Washington DC's All Souls Church in 1962. Taking songs from Jazz Samba as a spring-board the band reinterpret classics of the bossa nova craze from around the world. Original songs and contemporary favorites are given the Veronneau bossa treatment.
Come hear the band perform from their two hit CD's in Annapolis to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this great music.
