Grammy Award Winner Will Calhoun to Perform at Dwyer Cultural Art Center, Part of The Uptown Tea Series

New York, NY -- Will Calhoun, Living Colour’s Grammy Award-winning drummer, will perform at The Uptown Tea Series, a monthly new art series, Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 2:00 pm at The Dwyer Cultural Art Center. Will Calhoun intelligently and artistically combines, Indigenous Afro Roots, Urban beats/samples, visual multimedia, and Jazz. A far reaching acoustic/electronic journey from this Two Grammy Winning Drum Master, joined by pianist Marc Carey and bassist Burniss Travis. Mr. Calhoun will also present a small photo exhibition from his African/South American travels.
