Cryptogramophone

Cryptogramophone is a Los Angeles based record label that presents state of the art recordings of creative jazz, in beautifully designed digipaks. Cryptogramophone was formed in 1998 by violinist/producer Jeff Gauthier, to serve the needs of a community of creative jazz artists committed to exploring the cutting edge of improvisation, composition, artistic vision, emotion, and musical innovation. Some of the artists who perform on Cryptogramophone Records include Scott Amendola, Bobby Bradford, Alex Cline, Nels Cline, Mark Dresser, Erik Friedlander, Bill Frisell, Ben Goldberg, Steuart Liebig, Denman Maroney, Bennie Maupin, Brad Mehldau, Myra Melford, Andrea Parkins, Alan Pasqua, Don Preston, Jenny Scheinman, Cuong Vu, and many others.
