A warm voice, funky but also measured and intimate. The music of Bai Kamara Jr. is a mélange of soul, funk, R&B and jazz. Hailing originally from Sierra Leone, Bai Kamara Jr. grew up in the UK and is now based in Brussels. He is a committed singer-songwriter whose African roots are revealed through his music. He has shared the stage with international artists like Habib Koité, Cassandra Wilson, Rokia Traoré, and Keziah Jones. His charity work led to a collaboration with the global star Youssou N’Dour. He will be presenting his new project, due to be released in the spring, with a sextet and brass section : guaranteed to melt your winter blues away.
