About
Sam Vloemans is a versatile musician, who loves many styles. Above all, he plays the horns. Vloemans is fused with his trumpet and bugel, but he can also play several percussion instruments.
Vloemans was born in Curaçao in 1979. The young Sam grew up with Latin music and these influences are apparent in his music. Later on, living in Belgium, he developed an interest in jazz, soul and pop.
He has released two albums with his own Sam Vloemans Band. He looked for the best fitting musicians for his first album ‘Otrabanda’ from 2011. On the album ‘New Light’ from 2013 he found his own sound.
