Gabrielle is the 2021 winner of the International Sarah Vaughan Vocal Competition — the same competition that launched Samara Joy’s career the year before.

Ms. Cavassa is a New Orleans-based vocalist of Italian descent who is rapidly gaining national attention for her distinctive voice and uniquely intimate expression. Her influences range from Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse to Frank Ocean and Italian opera.
