Cavassa gained wider attention through her collaboration with renowned saxophonist Joshua Redman, most notably on his 2023 Blue Note album Where Are We, where her vocals were featured throughout the project, and on the 2025 album Words Fall Short. She has also performed and recorded with Adonis Rose and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Jamison Ross, and contributed vocals on projects by artists such as Bria Skonberg and others.
