Forever Ella: A Centennial Birthday Celebration
Celebrate the life of Ella Fitzgerald, the Smithsonian’s 2017 Jazz Appreciation Month’s featured musician! We will screen a documentary in honor of the first lady of song’s centennial birthday! The documentary explores the wonderful musical life and career of Ella, through several original recordings and rarely seen performances, through the ears and insights of celebrities and colleagues.
