Eliott Knuets studied with Peter Hertmans, Wolfgang Muthspiel and Lionel Loueke. At the age of 16 he had the chance to jam with Wynton Marsalis during a tour in Belgium. Marsalis saw him and invited him for a virtual session from Dizzy's Club in New York. After that Eliott was invited to play with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra. Inspired by Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk and the current Lage Lund, Andrew Renfroe, Micah Thomas, Sullivan Fortner... Eliott has already recorded one album under his own name (when he was 17) and two albums as a sideman. He was recently invited by the Leuven Jazz Festival to perform with Aaron Parks, and was invited by the famous drummer Jorge Rossy for a trio session. He was a finalist at the international jazz competition “Keep an Eye” 2023 where he performed in a quartet with pianist Noé Secula. Together they won the prize for the best arrangement.
