The idea for this Quartet was born from the Duo that guitarists Louis Martinez and Jean-Marc Floury decided to form during confinement.

Louis Martinez, guitarist and composer, began playing guitar at the Conservatory for classical and self-taught for Jazz. He is a professor at the Sète conservatory and the founder and artistic director of the Jazz à Sète festival. Jean Marc Floury is a self-taught guitarist influenced by many trends from blues to Brazilian music.

Jean Marc Floury is a self-taught guitarist influenced by many trends from blues to Brazilian music.

After a few work sessions, Louis suggested to Jean-Marc that he integrate the solid Bass - Drums rhythm of his latest project "Influences" into the Duo. The Quartet's repertoire, identical to that of the Duo although with different arrangements, is essentially made up of compositions by the 2 guitarists. Although their backgrounds are different, their influences very varied and their styles very personal, they have in common a sense of melody, improvisation and Groove. They approach this project with an obvious pleasure that they hope to share with the public after these long months of frustration.
