LETAFOU was founded by Philippe Carnoy and Rainer Theobald. In the eighties
their jazz formation COAL had won an award at the Jazzfront Studioprojekt Berlin, and they also had the honour of being the opening act at the SUN RA – 14th Hofheimer Jazzfestival.

Oscillating between composition and improvisation, LETAFOU will build up intensity and seduce the listener into the »craze of the moment« …
