As part of the nets-loops-cells series, LUX:NM – one of the most versatile ensembles for contemporary music – presents itself as a purely improvising collective. Beyond pre-written scores, the music emerges in the moment: dense sonic networks (nets), circling movements (loops), and delicate sound cells (cells) take shape in the musicians’ free play.
Known for sonic precision, curiosity, and experimental openness, LUX:NM here reveals another side – spontaneous, direct, and unpredictable. The line between individual and ensemble blurs. What remains is a living sound organism that constantly reinvents itself.
