The essence of Merve Salgar and Anıl Eraslan’s performance is to create a crystalline bridge where the listener melds into the contrast between simultaneity and agitation, between traditional Turkish music forms and contemporary undertones.
The performance divides the sonic space between the two instruments, with the musicians constantly awakening and resonating within this liminal space. They confront each other like two sides of the same coin: seemingly discordant, yet fundamentally united.
