Ed and his amazing 17 piece band returns with their third album of his distinctive, colorful big band interpretations of the great 20th century composer, Frank Zappa. Ed has led a big band for 30 years, bringing wide recognition while gfarnering rave reviews. In addition to originals, Ed Palermo’s Big Band also performs the music of Hendrix, Santana, Crimson, Ellington, among other icons. Ed was recently featured on NPR's Weekend Edition, arranged for the Tonight Show and guests on his albums have included Napoleon Murphy Brock, Ike Wilis, John Sebastian, Jimmy Vivino and Candy Zappa.
