The Sunday Music Club welcomes legendary jazz bassist Gene Perla and his Parker Trio for a career retrospective concert.
For nearly five decades, virtuoso bassist Gene Perla has traveled the world, playing with Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, Elvin Jones, Sonny Rollins, and dozens more. He will visit the Sunday Music Club to tell the stories and play the music from his long career. He will be accompanied by his Parker Trio: Jon Ballantyne on keyboards and Adam Nussbaum on drums.
