The Allentown Band brings an all jazz program to JazzFest, playing tributes to Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, and Harry James. The Allentown Band is the oldest civilian concert band in the United States, has played a continuously active role in the musical life and cultural fabric of the community since its first documented performance on July 4, 1828.
At this event, you can expect to hear some of the great compositions of the 20th Century from an historic ensemble.
