About
Ant Law's quartet first appeared with an impressive performance as part of a Jazz Steps programme two years ago. Now he returns with the band augmented by pianist Ivo Neame (last seen with Dylan Howe’s Subterraneans), and pianist/composer with the awardwinning trio Phronesis. Although a guitar virtuoso, Law never hogs the limelight, working with the band to create a coolly relaxed regular-jazz feel and a more rhythmically edgy contemporary approach.
