About
Born in England in 1955, Benn Clatworthy grew up in London. Active in the London music scene during the 1970’s, he moved to Los Angeles in 1980 and has performed with Cedar Walton, Lionel Hampton, Jimmy Cleveland, and many other jazz greats. Benn regularly tours the UK and is a firm Bonington Theatre favourite and his collaboration here with trumpeter Yates should produce hard-grooving bop of the highest order
