When Ryan Quigley first played at the Bonington Theatre he nearly blew the place apart with his high energy bop trumpet playing. As well as running his own big band, Ryan has appeared with the SNJO, the Metropole Orchestra, Laurence Cottle Big Band as well as working with Quincy Jones, Vince Mendoza, Randy Brecker and Kurt Elling. He returns with this Anglo-US quintet with a US rhythm section featuring Geoff Keezer, who held the piano chair in Art Blakey
