About

Geoff has been playing professionally since 1977. He often works with American musicians who are visiting this country and over the years has played with such luminaries as Art Farmer, Tal Farlow, Warren Vache, and Howard Alden. He plays in a style influenced by those two great originals Lennie Tristano and Lee Konitz, combining a witty turn of phrase with a rare lyricism. Nikki Iles is one of our foremost pianists and composers, whose work has been compared to that of the great John Taylor. Martin France is one of the UK's accomplished and inventive drummers.
"The alto saxophonist who most frequently comes to mind is the light, airy, relaxed, almost self deprecating style of the inestimable Paul Desmond." - All About Jazz
