The ‘couple’ in saxophonist and bandleader Daniel Erdmann’s “Thérapie de Couple”
is Germany-France. “Every now and then, the engine of Europe has a marital
crisis” he says. He is ideally placed to offer counselling, knowing these two countries
so well, and pleased to have been invited to set up a new German-French
sextet.
