Originally hailing from the Caribbean, but now based in New York and Paris, saxophonist Jacques Schwarz-Bart goes on an entirely new adventure with his Jazz Racine Haiti project. Together with a jazz ensemble as well as lead vocalist and initiated Voodoo priestess Tikaya Benjamin, he makes music that is marked by powerful Haitian spirituality and virtuoso, extensive improvisational parts.
