Kompost 3 at Jazzahead! at Messe Bremen

"Kompost" at first might not seem like a good thing to compare one's music to. But Kompost 3 dug deeper. To them, "Kompost" (engl. “compost”) stands for organic, earthly and alive – qualities equivalent to their music. Trumpet, e-piano, bass, drums and subtle electronic soundscapes form the base for the band's fresh and funky sound and are organically fused into something new. Their third album Epigenesis, which they present at jazzahead!, was released in 2013.
