Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra, founded in Berlin in 2006, draws on a colorful panorama of influences “but sounds like it belongs in a new sub-genre all of its own” (Jazzwise). AMEOs current program was set for performance at Berghain. It also collaborated with H. Pascoal and was the first ever winner of the German Jazz Prize for large ensemble.
