Tangerine’s sources of inspiration range from post-rock, electro and contemporary jazz to the minimalist composers. The composition of Tangerine’s set is full of contrasts – powerful melodies alongside free and unbridled improvisations making full use of effects and superimposed sounds. The final result is complex yet accessible, organic yet festive – light years away from a purely cerebral jazz.
