Edward’s groundbreaking crossover ensemble featuring string quartet and soprano saxophone play the music of Astor Piazzolla to coincide with the composer’s centenary year.
Blaze was formed in 2008 and the group has been prolific in developing new repertoire for this exciting combination of instruments. For this show, they will be joined by classical guitar to perform specially commissioned arrangements of Piazzolla’s music by Hywel Davies alongside music from their extensive back catalogue.
Expect to hear a fusion of classical, jazz and tango music together with a visual feast provided by authentic tango dancers!
