In January 2015, Guillaume Vierset presented his first album with the LG Jazz Collective at the River Jazz Festival. He returns for the first club concert of the season with his brand new project, the quintet “Harvest Group”.
Vierset’s love of the great songwriters, such as Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, or even Elliott Smith, has inspired him in the creation of this new body of work, where the young guitarist shows a new side of his musical personality. After the energy and the soaring delights of modern jazz that he is known to be partial to, his new work, more intimate, fragile and tender, bears the hallmarks of the nostalgia and melancholy of his favourite songwriters.
