After many national collaborations (Mário Delgado, José Salgueiro, Maria João ...) as well as international (Barry Altschull, Don Moye, Karl Berger and Steve Lacy, among many others), Barretto return to Belgium and join the Cuban cellist Juan Verdera.
This out of ordinary musician, we already know him in the Belgian jazz scene with his jazz fusion group Juan Verdera Trio (where he plays and explores the electric cello). With improvisation at the heart of its merged music, enthusiastically accept the challenge of Barretto and especially the sharing of musical ideas, this time with his acoustic cello.
Above all, do not expect anything conventional... these musicians will share their world with us for an attractive fusion improvised session!
