The pianist-leader of the East Gipsy Band, which has been a smash hit at the legendary Blue Note in New York and the Detroit Jazz Festival, József Balázs is one of the most talented keyboardists of the middle generation, a brilliant musician in the world of ethno-jazz and in the mainstream of the genre. The other three great members of the quartet are Krisztián Lakatos Pecek on bass, Zoltán Zana on saxophone and Elemér Balázs on drums.
