The leader of this young and fantastically gifted crew is the guitarist PÉTER CSEH who has won prize upon prize in the last two years. He is a holder of the Junior Prima Award and two years running he was the member of the band that won the first prize at the MÜPA Jazz Showcase. Pianist ZSOLT FARKAS came first with his own trio at the Vysledky Jazz Festival in 2016. In the same year he won the award Discovery of the Year. Since then he has become a permanent member of the Hungarian jazz diva, Nikoletta Szőke’s Quartet. However, the “elder statesman” of Péter Cseh’s quartet is the 31-year old bass player, the incredible virtuoso, KRISZTIÁN PECEK LAKATOS who was only 13 when he won the National Jazz Bass Competition with John Pattitucci chairing the jury. In a trio with his cousins they brought the house down in London’s legendary 606 Club. The drummer AMBRUS RICHTER is one of the most outstanding exponents of his instrument from the new generation. ...
