Ben Stolorow and his trio (featuring Dan Feiszli on bass and Jon Arkin on drums) will celebrate the release of his new CD, entitled Almost There on August 8 at Yoshi's in Oakland. The trio will perform Ben’s original compositions from the album, along with classic, straight-ahead jazz.

An active member of the Bay Area jazz scene for over ten years, Ben has performed at numerous local venues, at the Healdsburg and SF Jazz Festivals and at Oakland’s Art & Soul Festival, as well as in Japan and other parts of Asia. Ben also collaborates with his sister, Stephanie Stolorow, a vocalist and songwriter from San Francisco, and performs with her under the band name, Stoli Rose.
