MDA Latin Jazz Quartet at Studio Theatre

After two successful performances during the last edition of the Stewart Park Festival, the Ottawa based and Cuban born pianist Miguel de Armas is returning to Perth with his Latin Jazz Quartet. He brought together a powerful and energetic style and at times ideas seem to be flying out from under his fingers almost more quickly than he can fully process them. With the help of Montreal based drummer Michel Medrano, bassist Marc Decho and conga player Arien Villegas they made a perfect rhythm team, generating lots of inspiring moments during their performance.
