I am pleased to present a tribute concert to one of my favourite jazz artists as part of Katie Diamond’s Sunday Jazz Cabaret at the Music@Mill Road series in Chelsea, Quebec.

Nancy Wilson was an American singer whose career spanned more than five decades, from the mid 50s until her retirement around 2010. She recorded more than 70 albums and won three Grammy Awards for her work. During her career Wilson was often referred to as a singer of pop, soul, R & B and jazz but she preferred to be called a "song stylist". Nancy Wilson: The Great American Song Stylist will offer selections from many of her albums beginning with her debut recording, Like In Love from 1959 up to her 2006 CD entitled Turned To Blue. The show will feature well-known standards from The Great American Songbook such as Almost Like Being In Love, Fly Me To The Moon, Teach Me Tonight, This Time The Dream’s On Me, What A Little Moonlight Will Do to name a few as well as one her signature songs and biggest hits, Guess Who I Saw Today, a beautiful testament to love with a surprising twist. ...
