For four years I was allowed to study jazz in Cologne.
A remarkable experience for me: my knowledge of jazz continues to grow day by day and I understand the people around me and the different cultures better than before. So far, I would say, everything is well arranged, including our band, which was temporarily formed for a recording at the beginning of February 2022. The first time we played together in the studio, I knew they were exactly the band members I was looking for. During my studies in Cologne, I tried to adapt my violin technique more to jazz music. At this point, my idols, Zbigniew Seifert and Didier Lockwood, peaked. At the same time, I was also attracted to the improvisation of Zach Brock. I also experimented with jazz with the violin as my main instrument, and I must say that John Coltrane, McCoy Tyner influenced me a lot....
