It’s never too late to follow your passion. This is proven by saxophonist Fabian Junge, who, after his first professional years as a political scientist, decided to devote himself professionally to music. For the past four years, he has been studying music at the Cologne University of Music and Dance.

In search of the balance between complexity and simplicity, he has composed several pieces during this time, which he and his three fellow musicians interpret with ease and a thirst for exploration. Complemented by personal favorite pieces from jazz history, the quartet presents an energetic yet contemplative program. Together they immerse themselves in the music and explore the boundaries of modern jazz.
