Her promising talent is evident on her debut album Sereno, which was recorded in Cologne and brilliantly mixed by Grammy winner David Darlington in New York. The album contains compositions by Camila, accompanied by her quartet: Henrique Gomide (piano), Antoine Duijkers (drums), Charly Härtel (double bass) and guests Matthias Schriefl (trumpet and flugelhorn) and Daniel Manrique-Smith (flute and alto flute).

The musicians also reinterpret songs by Hermeto Pascoal (Chorinho Pra Eie), the accordionist Dominguinhos (Nilopolitano) and the guitarist and composer Fil6 Machado (Campagne de Dede). Camila Ronza has come to show the world how the voice can be used as an instrument in Brazilian music at the highest level. Her totally original approach to scat singing with danceable and rousing rhythms not only reaches a jazz audience, but also appeals to a diverse and broad spectrum of listeners.
