COLONEL PETROV’S GOOD JUDGEMENT – the name stands for going your own way, not following conventions and norms. In 1983, the aforementioned Colonel Stanislav Petrov also exposed a supposed nuclear attack on the Soviet Union as a false alarm by not following the official rules in the event of a missile alert, thus preventing the worst from happening.

Of course, the quartet led by guitarist and composer Sebastian Müller is not interested in saving the world, but rather in finding a new way of merging different musical influences. The band’s powerful and wacky music is subject to a continuous development process that ranges from jazz to no wave, noise, math rock and heavy rock sounds, but does not follow any predetermined formulas....

On this evening, the band will be joined by a very special guest, Philip Zoubek, who will complement the band on the synthesizer. Zoubek is regarded as a border crosser between jazz and new music and is a master of free improvisation. His musical openness paired with his powerful and ecstatic playing contribute perfectly to the band’s power play.
