For the first Facetten edition in 2024, Cologne pianist Philip Zoubek presents an unusual quartet. They include Zurich percussionist Christian Wolfahrt, who has created an unmistakable personal style on the snare, and French accordionist Emilie Škrijelj, whose playing manages to bridge the gap between acoustic and electronic music. Together they meet bassist Pascal Niggenkemper, who is well known in Cologne and is also a sound researcher and great stylist.
