With his innate talent for improvisation and extensive knowledge of the jazz vocabulary, Fito has established himself as a defining figure in the Dominican music scene. He seamlessly blends a variety of Latin American musical styles with his jazz roots, creating a unique soundscape enriched by influences from Romanticism and Expressionism.

His skills as a pianist and composer have earned him recognition from both local and international audiences. He has been invited to renowned festivals such as the Dominican Republic Jazz Festival and the Chile Jazz por la Paz Festival, where he was artist-in-residence. He has also been taught by Grammy award-winning jazz greats such as Danilo Pérez, Miguel Zenón and John Patitucci.

His trio consists of the virtuoso double bass player Pato Banda, who comes from the classical music scene, and the outstanding Chilean drummer Pablo Sáez.
