Under the title TRISTANOS TRAUM, Frank Wunsch recorded a program with his ensemble in 2021, which was initially released digitally by LAIKA and is now also available on CD.

In the meantime, the line-up and repertoire of the Frank Wunsch Ensemble have changed slightly. The pianist, who will turn 80 years old on the 29th of August 2025, contributes his own compositions, which are characterized by singable melodies, as well as arrangements of standards. Finally, the title piece offers ample opportunity for free improvisation in various instrumentations. A folk song arrangement and an adaptation of a dance by Schubert also have their place in a varied program....
