Justin Zitt (winner of the Freiburg International Piano Competition), Julian Grüneberg (bass) and Julius Steyer (drums) have been playing together for over three years now and have gained a lot of concert experience (e.g. Landesjazzfest BaWü, Jazzfestival Freiburg).

They recorded their debut album with FRIGO in spring 2024.

Bandleader Justin Zitt is a 21-year-old jazz pianist from Mannheim.
After joining the „Jazz Juniors“ jazz promotion program of the state of Baden Württemberg as a teenager and then completing preliminary studies at the HDMK Stuttgart with Hubert Nuss, he is now studying for a bachelor’s degree at the Mannheim University of Music. There he was taught by Rainer Böhm and Lorenz Kellhuber, among others.
He recently won 1st prize at the 8th International Piano Competition in Freiburg, was also a member of the last (2022) Gutenberg Jazz Collective of the Jazz Campus Mainz and is now a scholarship holder of the Deutschlandstipendium.
As part of the GJC, he has already played concerts with Ingrid Jensen, Kris Davis, Becca Stevens, Billy Hart and Ben Street. Other performances have taken him to stages across Germany, France and Great Britain, including with well-known musicians such as Nils Landgren, Menzel Mutzke, Stefan Karl Schmid, Peter Gall and many more.
