Founded in 2009 by Jarry Singla, the ensemble mainly plays his compositions and performs nationally and internationally – so far at renowned festivals and concert series such as
Buenos Aires Jazz, Jazz Utsav New Delhi, Bolivia Festijazz, Acht Brücken – Musik für Köln, Lille
Piano(s) Festival, Düsseldorf Festival and Musik in Donaueschingen.

In 2013, Jarry Singla lived in Mumbai for six months as a scholarship holder of the Kunststiftung NRW. Since then, the trio has been working with Pratik Shrivastav. Among other things, the projects have led to a collaboration with the big band of Hessischer Rundfunk.

Jarry Singla EASTERN FLOWERS is one of the special ensembles selected by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia for so-called ensemble funding.
