Belgian multi-instrumentalist Jozef Dumoulin is often cited for his pioneering work with the Fender Rhodes (mythical keyboard of the 70s), an instrument that he redefined through a contemporary, eclectic and very personal artistic scope. He was the first to present a solo program with this instrument, recorded on the album A Fender Rhodes Solo, which has become cult since its release 10 years ago.
Today he presents a new solo opus entitled This Body, This Life, released on the Lyonnais label Carton records. This work juxtaposes Fender Rhodes, acoustic piano, synthesizers as well as drum machines, for a journey that explodes and deepens the previous ones. An excursion towards mysterious and original territories, without open references but connected to a whole field of possibilities....
