LiaisonTonique is currently devoting itself to the creation of a new repertoire. The tried and tested collaboration of many years revolves mainly around compositions penned by pianist Laia Genc and drummer Jens Düppe. The trio finds its inspiration in modern jazz as well as the great tradition of this format, borrows from new music, pop and electronic music. All these musical aspects are woven into a purely analogue convincing concert experience: From lyrical modern piano trio passages to impulsively grooving songs and a playful approach to free improvisation, the three musicians exhaust the supreme discipline of the jazz piano trio. The main emphasis is on constant interaction, the immediate joy of playing and the attraction of always being new. With a lot of charm, refreshingly lively music-making and the necessary wink of the eye, LiaisonTonique is able to enchant the ears and hearts of their listeners.
