The band Offshore exists for 13 years now, and has over time changed and developed like an organism. From the initial band with two band leaders, a collective has developed more and more, which has developed and speaks its own language. All band members have developed their own special band sound with piano, vibraphone and saxophone and all feel responsible for making musical decisions. Through over a hundred concerts together (including WDR Jazzfest 2013, Jazzfestival Saarbrücken 2014, Jazzrally Düsseldorf 2015 and many more) and three jointly released albums (latest album: Preen, Klaeng Records), a common way of making music has grown that is based on deep mutual understanding and thus allows for extraordinary musical freedom....
