In this way, the music in the small circle of musicians becomes a special invitation.

Stylistically, the music of Kleve pianist Stefan Schöler has developed over the years from neo-bop to classic modern jazz: A music that draws on traditional improvisation techniques from swing and bebop, but does not renounce the achievements of modal and modern jazz improvisation. Schöler studied with Sharon Anderson and Rob van den Broeck, and later with John Tayler, Carla Bley and Steve Swallow, among others. Two years ago, he began working with Lukas Keller and Simon Bräumer. With television and radio appearances for WDR and ARD, performances in renowned clubs and at festivals in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark, the release of the second album "Wiedersehen" on Unit Records, the collaboration with David Friedman (vibraphone) at the Tübingen Conversations Festival, the trio was able to take things further. The next album will be released in fall 2024 on Double Moon Records.
