Svetlana Marinchenko is originally from Russia, Moscow. She started to play music when she was 17, after hearing Coltrain’s Love Supreme. After 3 years of experience in music, she managed to get enrolled in the Musorgsky Colledge of Music. Svetlana studied with the famous Russian jazz pianist Andrey Kondakov.
In 2014, Svetlana reached the 3rd place at the Jazzcomposers Competition in Groningen (Holland) and also participated in the festival „Swinging Groningen“....

In 2014, Svetlana reached the 3rd place at the Jazzcomposers Competition in Groningen (Holland) and also participated in the festival „Swinging Groningen“.
Likewise, Svetlana won First Prize in Jazz at Steinway Competition 2016 and reached the Yamaha Competition Final.
In 2018 Svetlana participated in International Piano Competition in Langnau (Switzerland), where participant was selected by Aaron Goldberg.
And in 2019 Svetlana took first place on Kurt Maas Jazz Award.

Now the young pianist has her own trio: SVM3. Here, Svetlana has developed her own very special style, which sounds like modern jazz and is enriched with classical and hip-hop influences. Open and honest, the pianist’s compositions tell of personal development and take the listener on an emotional journey. In May 2021, she released her second album Letters to my little girl, which she recorded with the world-famous drummer Ofri Nehemya (Shai Maestro, Avishai Cohen, ECM Records).
