With his projects such as AMOK AMOR, Lotus Eaters and LIUN & THE SCIENCE FICTION BAND, Wanja Slavin has been an integral part of the German jazz scene for several years now. The multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer lives in the forests of Brandenburg, from where he enriches the German scene like few others. Over the course of his career, he has played with countless influential musicians of our time – including Kenny Wheeler, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Joachim Kühn and Peter Evans – as well as with the who’s who of the German jazz world.
His playing has received numerous awards, including the Echo Jazz, the BMW Welt Jazzaward and the New German Jazz Award.
