In the current edition of the Facetten series, pianist and electronic musician Philip Zoubek presents an all-electronic quartet.
Joining them is the Italian sound artist and vocalist Sara Persico, who now lives in Berlin. In her music she combines analog electronics, field recordings, samples and vocals. Also on board is Berlin-based electronic artist, drummer and producer Ludwig Wandinger, with whom Philip Zoubek has been collaborating in the band collective TAU5 since 2019. The quartet is completed by Cologne-based Pablo Gīw, whose trumpet playing, alienated by electronics and extended technics, redefines the role of his instrument....

The quartet’s music works with elements of various genres, between ambient, noise, orchestral outbursts, orgiastic beats and quiet beauty.
