About the recording session Joāo Morado wrote in Beatsforpeeps.com:
„Since this record is one of the first encounters of the trio, it is noticeable that certain musical currents are already so strongly felt in it, giving this work a distinct identity and therefore partially revealed. In contrast to improvisations that rely on the explosiveness and expressiveness of the musicians, in „Aforismos“ there is a clear preference for music with minimalist and reductionist contours. However, in this music there is also an attempt to build bridges between free jazz and free improvisation, which appear here as two poles connected by a musical continuum.“
